January - Phone-a-Thon

Volunteers (parents, students, friends, board members, staff) man the phones at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL and phone supporters to ask for contributions to the school.

May - Walk-a-Thon

All RCS students participate in a Walk-a-Thon sponsored by pledges from supporters who receive a picture and a hand-written letter from students asking for their sponsorship.

June-July - Online Auction

In 2008 the Advancement Office attempted its first ever online auction with donated specialty items. Generous bidding by supporters resulted in $6,000 given to the school!

September - Golf Outing: 4 Person Scramble

The 18th Annual Golf Outing is set for Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Lincoln Oaks Golf Course, 390 E Richton Rd, Crete, IL Teeing Off at 8 a.m.
$100 Donation - Golf Cart Included.

September-October

School Administration sponsored Candy/Magazine/Candle Sale. Students ask family and friends to purchase the various catalog items. All profits go to the Student Activity Fund.

November - Thanksgiving Appeal

December - Christmas Card Greeting with Reply Envelope

CPTA (Christian Parent-Teacher Association)
Sponsored Fund Raising Events:

Sale of taffy apples, cookie dough, popcorn, uniform resale. Funds from these enable the CPTA to donate much-needed furnishings, etc., to the school.

Outward/Outreach Focus

In an effort to serve others outside our normal neighborhood parameters, our students, their families, and staff contributed $1,000 to our "Coins for a Cause" 2007-08 project supporting a Kenyan child's attendance in school.
